It has been a long time since I've updated the blog, but we had a nice day of skiing yesterday at Okemo. The weather was clear and sunny, but cold as it can be without a cloud blanket. I needed my footwarmers to handle the mid teen temps. We have not had much fresh snow in the last week, and the groomers had preened the trails into flat, crispy fast movers. We took the kids over to the South Face and skiied all the trails off the Sunrise lift. They were fast, and I could feel the dullness of my midseason edges on my Atomic's .After a few hours my hands were just too cold, and it was time to pack it in. I would have expected more folks at the mountain, but it wasn't that crowded.
