Sometimes ski areas slowly go under, like Pico or Haystack. And lastly, we are looking at visiting Northstar in Tahoe, which has this recent writeup in the Miami Herald of all places. I would not have thought folks would have trekked that far to visit it. You can see where it is located to the left.
