I never mentioned it on the blog, but in the fall of 2014, our two elderly cats passed away within six weeks of each other.
Nikolai and Zamfir were brother / littermates and enjoyed a very full ripe 20 years, exceptional for domestic pets.
It took me some time, but thanks to Google Photos, I have finally put their pictures into an album, along with other departed pets.
I notice how many less pictures we took of all the pets, once the children arrived.
It's probably best to view it in 'slideshow' mode. There are a lot of pictures, along with some of us as well.
Looking at these pictures, and picking the better ones, was both happy and sad.
They were great companions, and we are thankful to have been entrusted with them.
